“Acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary changes and a much more balanced outlook on life helped Christina overcome and manage her own health challenges then and now. It also sparked a career change and her passion for helping and inspiring others to achieve improved health and quality of life.”

Christina brings over 10 years of experience as a qualified and registered acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner to Mornington Chinese Medicine.

Christina is originally from Denmark and used to be a travel agent. She has called Australia home for more than 20 years and discovered the wonders of Chinese medicine in Melbourne at a time when she was experiencing a range of physical and mental health issues. This all culminated following the birth of her daughter and a period of heightened stress, sleep deprivation and overall depletion.

Christina considers herself a GP of Chinese medicine and her broad range of interests and expertise include:

  • Pain relief and management
  • Women’s Health
  • Fertility & Pregnancy
  • Immunity & Respiratory concerns - sinusitis, hay fever, asthma
  • Chronic fatigue & lingering post viral complaints
  • Sleep problems
  • Stress, anxiety and depression
  • Digestive issues

As a working mother Christina has great compassion for the challenges and impacts of contemporary living and the related effects this have on your health and mindset. Christina’s treatments are wholistic, integrated and individually tailored to your unique situation. Her aim is to give you fast relief with long term resolution and to support and empower you to create changes in your health and life for the better.

When Christina is not busy sticking needles in people and mixing ‘magical’ herbal decoctions, she likes to look after her own mind and body with regular yoga practice, lots of delicious food and time in nature. She also loves travelling, reading, going to the movies, hiking, and paddling on her SUP and with her team at The Melbourne Flames Dragon Boat Club.
