It is every person's right to feel heard by health professionals and I feel humbled to listen to each and every story. Each patient that walks through the door comes with a unique story and a unique condition and they deserve to be treated as such. Together we will follow steps to change the course of your health story ."

CAROLYN BUTLER

Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Registered Acupuncturist (B.Hsc)

CURRENLTY ON MATERNITY LEAVE UNTIL JAN 25

Caz has worked with several leading mentors over the years to hone her craft. From them, she has learnt that the beauty of Chinese Medicine lies in its simplicity and flexibility. She brings these elements into practice with her patients, blending it with a keen interest in evidence-based medicine.

She believes strongly in the use of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture for general health maintenance, mental health complaints as well as acute and chronic conditions.

She didn’t go looking for a love of women’s health; it found her. Discussions of endometriosis, chronic fatigue syndrome and other chronic conditions that disproportionately affect women with few answers, light a fire in her. Additionally, her own challenges with endometriosis have triggered the love of all things menstrual cycle. Her mission is to educate people about the menstrual cycle, remove the taboo and create an open conversation.

The beauty of menstruation is that it is a guide to the health of the body and the mind. Caz works to bring these two often separated elements of ourselves together using Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and associated techniques. Helping women on their fertility journey, whether for better health and creativity, natural or assisted conception is a privilege. At a time when there is so much uncertainty, Caz finds no greater joy than to listen to a woman and allowing her to find herself in space.

She has also completed further training in Tan style acupuncture which she uses for her musculoskeletal patients. Caz is just as happy speaking to patients heading into their menstruating years and those exiting.

Caz prides herself at being a welcoming and down to earth practitioner and enjoys seeing patients from all walks of life. She is an LGBTQI ally and just wants everyone to have a good night’s sleep
