“Educating and supporting women’s health, fertility and wellbeing is not only imperative but an empowering experience that I am passionate to be apart of”

HOLLY WIGNALL

Doctor of Chinese Medicine & Registered Acupuncturist (B.Hsc)

IVF, Fertility & Women's Health | Musculoskeletal | Gut Health | Stress & Emotional Wellbeing

Holly is a registered Acupuncturist with over 20 years’ experience working in the health industry. Her professional background spans myotherapy, naturopathy, and acupuncture, giving her a broad and integrated understanding of how the body’s systems interact and adapt over time.

Her path into Chinese medicine was shaped by both clinical experience and personal insight. After experiencing acupuncture during her own fertility journey, including IVF, Holly was drawn to deepen her training and completed her Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture). This experience continues to inform the way she supports patients navigating fertility treatment, offering a perspective grounded in understanding and care.

Holly is trained in The Fertile Life Method and Fertile Life Mastery, developed by Mornington Chinese Medicine founder Kirsten Wolfe, and supports both female and male fertility as part of a whole-system approach to reproductive care.

Fertility & IVF Support

Holly supports individuals and couples through all stages of fertility care, including preconception, natural conception, IVF support, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery. She works with a diverse range of patients, including same-sex couples, and is familiar with the physical and emotional demands that fertility treatment can place on the body.

Holly supports male fertility as part of a whole-system approach to reproductive care, working with concerns related to sperm count, movement, and shape, including presentations such as oligospermia, azoospermia, asthenozoospermia, and teratozoospermia. Her care considers both physical and lifestyle factors that can influence reproductive health.

Her lived experience with IVF brings valuable insight when supporting patients through treatment cycles and the many layers that can accompany fertility care.

Women’s Health & Menstrual Care

Holly has a strong clinical interest in women’s health and menstrual care. She supports patients with irregular or painful cycles, PMS, amenorrhoea, endometriosis, and PCOS.

Her approach is holistic and considered, taking time to understand the patterns contributing to symptoms while also supporting symptom relief. Holly values helping patients feel informed and connected to their health, offering guidance that feels practical and supportive.

Emotional Health & Stress

Holly frequently supports patients experiencing stress-related and emotional health concerns, including anxiety, burnout, and emotional overwhelm, particularly where these intersect with hormonal, digestive, or fertility-related presentations.

Patients often appreciate her calm and reassuring presence, which helps create a sense of ease within the treatment space.

Gastrointestinal Health

Holly regularly works with patients experiencing digestive concerns such as bloating, IBS, constipation, diarrhoea, and stress-related gut symptoms. She takes a whole-system view of digestive health, recognising the close relationship between digestion, stress, and overall wellbeing.

Her background in naturopathy informs her understanding of nutritional and lifestyle influences, which she integrates thoughtfully into acupuncture care where appropriate.

Musculoskeletal Support

With a long-standing background in myotherapy, Holly also supports patients with musculoskeletal pain, tension, and injury-related concerns. While she offers acupuncture-only treatments at Mornington Chinese Medicine, her understanding of the musculoskeletal system adds depth to her clinical assessment and treatment planning.
