Hayfever solution: Acupunture! | Eli Thomas BAppSC (Chinese Medicine) BAppSC (Human Biology)

A-Chooooo!!!! Spring is in the air, and so are the pesky pollens causing hayfever sufferers to go into a frenzy of antihistamines, purse-pack tissues, red-eye drops, and muttering “I swear I don’t have the flu” 50 times a day. Not to mention figuring out how to scratch the inside of your nostril in public…?!

There is another solution though: ACUPUNCTURE!

Did you know that it may only take 4 weeks of acupuncture to completely relieve your hayfever symptoms for the season? That’s what the researchers found in RMIT university’s 2015 study involving Victorian hayfever and allergy sufferers. Speak to your practitioner about whether you might expect similar results based on your individual signs and symptoms.

Prevention is always better than a cure, so don’t hesitate to come in for an appointment BEFORE your nose really gets running…
